The 14th annual Zeitgeist Day Global Main Event took place in Gdansk, Poland. Originally, the plan was to host the event during the summer in Kyiv, Ukraine, after the last global Zeitgeist Day in Mongolia. However, in late February 2022, Russia launched a military offensive in Ukraine, making the country unsafe for any international gatherings.

Consequently, the event's planning faced significant delays. Eventually, it was held at the Hilton Hotel in Gdansk, Poland. After two challenging years marked by a pandemic, financial struggles, travel restrictions, and escalating tensions among nuclear powers, the event focused on some of the most urgent issues of our time. Never before has the need for global change, sustainability, and unity been more critical during the 21st century.

Compared to previous global events organized by The Zeitgeist Movement, this year's program was notably concise. One of the key themes was a reflection on TZM’s 14 years of activism—highlighting accomplishments, examining the movement's future direction, and strategizing how to reach more people effectively. Attendees discussed what more the movement can do to drive meaningful change and promote a sustainable, equitable future for our planet.

Participation was limited, with only a small number of attendees. Additionally, there was just one speech delivered entirely in Polish. Overall, this was the shortest global event hosted by TZM, but it carried a powerful message about resilience, adaptability, and hope for a better tomorrow.
